SUMMARY

Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness including the floors, counters, containers, ovens, cutting areas, walk-ins, storage, walls, and common areas. Follows concisely all instructions and recipes regarding food preparation, presentation, and preservation. Keeps all products stocked and irresistibly presentable to our guests for immediate consumption. Demonstrates the ability to be courteous and accountable in all situations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Consistently maintains the highest standards of cleanliness in the pizza preparation, cooking, and cutting areas.
* Monitors the consistency of the product presented to the guests.
* Maintains inventory to ensure that the guests’ expectations are exceeded.
* Responds to guests’ special requests in a courteous and accountable fashion.
* Works in a friendly, honest, and diligent manner with Team Members.
* Cooperates with all Team Members when assigned additional tasks.
* Demonstrates the ability and willingness to get along well with others at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Must be currently enrolled in High School; or
* Certificate or Completion of the High School equivalency test.
* At least 18 years of age or older.
* No prior work experience required, but preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS

* Able to maintain daily time record on IT’Z POS after training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

* Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
* Ability to comprehend data contained in handbooks, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Able to communicate effectively with IT’Z guests and Team Members.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

* Ability to understand and convert weights and measurements, add, subtract simple math, and calculate figure amounts.

REASONING ABILITY

* Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. These situations may involve Team Members and guests.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

* Safe serve certification; and/or
* Food handler certificate, if applicable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

* While performing the duties of this job the Pizza Cook is regularly required to interact with the general public, Team Members, and children of various ages.
* The Pizza Cook will be standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
* The Pizza Cook is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
* The Pizza Cook is required to lift up to 10 pounds and on occasion up to 25 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

* While performing the duties of this job the Pizza Cook is regularly exposed to heat, steam, water, chemicals, food, paper debris, loud noise, music, horns, bells, whistles, and other noise projected by various amusements and recreation equipment operating at IT’Z.
* The Pizza Cook is sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions.
