You will:
Service customer needs by showing products or merchandise available, responding to customer questions and completing sale.
Order merchandise and supplies from vendors or company warehouse. On receipt, properly document and place in inventory or display.
Handle telephone inquiries regarding store operation, product application or alternate products available to meet customers needs.
Perform record keeping duties relative to store operations: Credit memos, returned goods, pricing, inventories, etc.
Perform cash register programming and operating duties.
Assist or perform duties of Retail Store Manager in their absence:
- Scheduling employees.
- Handling daily register balancing and bank deposits.
May recommend changes or additions to items carried in store inventory. Works closely in coordinating incoming merchandise with existing customer orders.
Handle customer complaints in an amicable way.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. College degree a plus.
Retail supervisory/management experience, including quality improvement programs.
Excellent customer service/communication skills.
Proven leadership skills.
Woodworking experience and hardware/tools knowledge required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as needed.
