Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Major Cities Across Canada

4Refuel is expanding its team of dedicated, full-time Professional Operation Supervisors across Canada who are adaptable, self-motivated, passionate, customer service oriented, creative team player . We are in search for supervisors who can m anage and motivate all Operations personnel, corporate and franchisee operators, in delivering superior customer service and ensuring compliance to all corporate and regulatory guidelines, code, regulations and legislation, federally and provincially. Also, ensure appropriate training is provided to all operators in all aspects of safety and operational procedures and they have access to appropriate tools and equipment to uphold a positive corporate image for its reputation and service excellence. Works with all operators to ensure the service is provided in a productive and efficient manner, developing metrics as a tool for performance management.

* Responsible for the hiring training and scheduling of the drivers.
* Responsible for the Fleet Operation and Safety.

* Manage equipment utilization and plan routes to ensure the best possible use of tank capacity and allow for schedule maintenance without compromising customer service standards.

* Work with different cross functional teams and decision-makers and be responsible for organizing and monitoring repairs and maintenance of all equipment with various suppliers.
* Ensure the drivers are operating in accordance with all Provincial and Federal regulations and within the company operating standards and a priority.
* Responsible for monitoring budgets, select, train and manage employees on the road.


* A minimum of 5-10 years in the transportation operations management.
* Demonstrated leadership skills, high energy level, positive attitude and works well under pressure.
* Class DZ or 3 driver's license, Certification in Transporting Dangerous Goods, preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to relate to people at all different levels in the organization.
* Strategic thinker and the ability to execute.
* Able to left up to 100 lbs. and be on call 24/7.
* Approachable and friendly with people at all levels and in all cultures.
* Highest level of integrity, honesty and an excellent Trainer/Recruiter.
* Logical and proactive executioner.
* Continuous improvement methodology.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and transportation legislation.
* Mechanical aptitude; ability to learn and understand technical aspects of equipment.
* Good organizational and time management skills.
* Adaptable to constant change, new priorities, and interruptions.
* Strong problem solving skills; ability to make quick but sound decisions in emergency situations.
* Good working knowledge of computerized systems.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills to understand tank/load capacities and fill and flow volume.
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with diesel fuel and fumes.
* Ability to travel.
